Legally blonde or legally married?
Less than a month after her son’s death, Anna and Howard K. Stern took part in a bizarre ‘commitment ceremony at sea’ aboard a catamaran. Following the exchanging of rings and vows, the couple toasted each other with glasses of champagne as they munched on Kentucky Fried Chicken. While Anna and Stern celebrated their commitment ceremony, no marriage certificate was issued and their ‘union’ was not legal. However, photos of the couple were sold by he couple to tabloids for a cool million. Now that’s something to celebrate!

To add to her problems, Anna Nicole’s legal residency in the Bahamas (ostensibly to avoid Birkhead’s demands for paternity testing) was being challenged. Soon, another scandal erupted. Photos of Bahamian Immigration Minister, Shane Gibson, surfaced in the tabloids. The photos showed Gibson lying clothed on a bed embracing Anna Nicole. Gibson shortly resigned his post in disgrace.

Whatever wild and wacky things Anna had done in life, nothing could top her bizarre death.
On February 8, 2007, just five months after the birth of her daughter and death of her son, Anna Nicole Smith died in room 607 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Anna had eerily succumbed to a lethal cocktail of prescription drugs ... just like her son, Daniel Smith.

The Broward County M.E. concluded that she died of combined drug intoxication including chloral hydrate, methadone, sedatives, antidepressants, anxiety drugs, longevity medications, B12, and growth hormones. The drugs, combined with a severe bacterial infection from injecting medications into her buttocks, had ended the life of Anna Nicole Smith. Seminole Chief of Police, Charlie Tiger, held a press conference to say that his department had found no clear evidence of foul play, the coincidence of Anna’s death and her son’s death have left many wondering if a sinister hand was in play.
